Under: For Mom
I remember packing my bag for the hospital when my son was born six years ago. Like most women, I had certain things that I knew I didn't want to forget. One of the things that went into my bag, stayed on the bedside table in the hospital and was never very far from me during my post partum weeks was my Udderly Smooth lotion bottle.
It was during the middle of my first pregnancy that my skin got really dry and itchy. My mother handed me some lotion one day and I remember my first reaction was how much I absolutely adored the smell of it. Then, after putting it on, I knew I'd be a fan forever.
Udderly Smooth lotions are nothing like others out there. My favorite, the original Udder Cream, is greaseless, stainless, water-based with a light scent. More than a marketing gimmick, Udderly Smooth was actually originally developed for use on dairy cows. If it's made to help that kind of chafed skin, you know it'll work on your driest days. My favorite thing about Udderly Smooth Udder Cream is that it's not greasy in the slightest. That's important to me because I use lotion often throughout the day. I wash my dishes by hand and my hands can get incredibly dry and cracked and painful but, I really dislike the greasy lotions out there. Udderly Smooth is perfect because it feels so silky smooth going on, instantly relieves my dry hands and leaves them soft but not greasy.
Because I was already such a fan of the Udder Cream, I was delighted to try some of the other products from Udderly Smooth. The Foot Cream with Shea Butter is phenomenal. It's no surprise that the Udderly Smooth Foot Cream has been recommended by Today's Health and Wellness Magazine and Creative Home Arts Magazine and was the winner of Woman's Day Magazine's Best in Beauty for 2005. My feet are always in need of lotion. In the summertime, I live in flip flops and my dry, cracked feet are definitely something I want to take care of. In the winter time, dry feet drive me crazy because putting on all my comfy socks can sometimes be a bit painful when your feet are incredibly dry. The Foot Cream from Udderly Smooth actually works better than any other that I've tried. My husband loves it as well and we both really like the hand pump for the lid.
The Moisturizing Lotion from Udderly Smooth is just as amazing as the Udder Cream but, it's a little bit lighter and has added Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. I really like using this lotion as a body lotion after showering and shaving. It's the same softness and replenished feeling as the Udder Cream but, light enough to use every day and for hands or body. I've even used it on my face for times that I have overly dry skin.
I really and truly recommend any of the Udderly Smooth lotions. I've been a fan and avid Udder Cream user for over six years and now that I've tried some of their other products, I'm hooked on them as well.
You can get Udderly Smooth products at retailers, drug stores and grocery stores nationwide. Look for the black and white cow print bottles!
