Oy vey. This week seemed to be going really slow and then all of a sudden it's frackin' Thursday night and I've got a shit ton of stuff to do and I'm running out of time.

We're going shopping tomorrow. Me and the heathens children. Keep me in your thoughts. We've got some school shopping to do. Yikes. It's only a week away and that is insane, yo! Six years in the making. Wow, how they've gone by. As Modest Mouse says, "The years go fast and the days go so slow." So very true. I cannot believe I'm going to have a kid in school. I really can't quite grasp it.

Anyhoo, I'm stoked to go shopping and see my sister-in-law and my grandparents. Sure, we just saw them at the party last weekend but, they are some of my fave peeps.

This week's Most Interesting Family Member Award definitely goes to Snappy.

Why?

Because she is a nut.

She got ready for her party last weekend by washing her car.



A few days ago, I was pushing her on her new swingset.

She was in the swing.

I pushed.

She went up.

Her butt went back.

And, she backflipped off the swing.

Face plant.

She started crying and I rushed over. She sat up and I saw she was fine. (She'd been less than a foot off the ground.)

She was fine.

I couldn't help it.

I died laughing.

Then TRex joined in.

Hell, it was damn funny.

She stopped crying. Realized what had happened. And started laughing with us.

"I gotta hang on!" she said.

Yesterday, I was fussing at TRex for something and walked off down the hallway. I heard her behind me yell at him, "And you can run and tell that!"

Again, I died laughing.

That chick rocks.

Hopefully I'll keep my sense of humor with them both while out shopping tomorrow.
