Paint Fiasco, Boyz 2 Men and Love

I just realized that it's Friday.
Yep. That's the kind of week it's been.
For the last two weeks, I've been doing some painting. I painted one of the bathrooms, walls and cabinets. Then I started painting the kitchen cabinets. I got almost done in the kitchen when, two nights ago, 0007 made us both realize that....I didn't prime them!
Fanfreakintastic.
I was bummed, to say the least. Two weeks and a gallon of paint down the crapper. I'm not so much upset that I have to paint again. I love painting. I'm pissed that now I have to strip all that crap off!
Ah well. C'est la vie.
It's been a long week. I should have realized it was Friday but, it's seemed like the never ending week.
But, Friday it is. Time for Mama M's 5 Question Friday. No, your eyes are not deceiving you. There is no vlog here. I'll do one next week.
Today's Questions.
1. Do you know how to play a musical instrument?
I can pound out a few songs on the piano, keep a beat on the drums but, "play" an instrument, I do not. I've always wanted to be able to. My brother can play a mean guitar and is amazing on the keyboard but, I didn't get any of those genes!
2. What is your pet peeve while driving?
Texting. And people who drive too slow and don't let others pass them.
3. Would you rather have a housekeeper or unlimited spa services?
Housekeeper. I would waste the spa services. I'd never be able to get there. But, my house is here, just waiting for someone to come clean it! <hint hint>
4. Is there a song that you hear that will take you back to the moment, like a junior high or high school dance?
End of the Road by Boyz 2 Men.
Oh man, they played that damn song at every single junior high dance I ever went to! Back in those days, the Catholic and Methodist churches used to have dances all the time. I haven't listened to this song in forever. Really funny that I still remember all the words. Fun times!
5. What song best represents your life right now?
Hmmmm. I've been trying to change to an overall positive attitude lately. Trying to let go of things, not let so much stuff bother me (even when I get pissed about painting), realize that if I've got 0007, TRex, Snappy, my family and amazing friends, the rest is just fluff. So, I guess this song is pretty perfect right now....
