I have never entered my kids into a contest for their cuteness or anything like that. I think they are great and I'm always super jealous of the people who win but, I've never actually entered one. I'd hate for my unluckiness to rub off on my kids! We had such a good time on Halloween! My brother-in-law had a party at his house where adults and kids alike all had a wonderful time. His wife is such a good hostess and always blows us away with all her homemade goodies. Seriously, I can't believe I forgot to take pics of the desert table. It was quite a spread. T-minus 2 days (or one day depending on if you count the actual day. I never know how you do that.) until the Trick or Treating Extravaganza! We actually have pretty great plans this year to trick or treat with all the nieces and friends and then have a fun party at my brother-in-law's house. I've found the blogger that has turned an obsession I love into a wonderful blog carnival! Love From Texas is a super cute blog that I recently found and became instantly addicted to. So, I ran across a blog today with a post about the Baby Einstein dvd's. This blogger wrote about the AAP recommending zero tv time for kids under 2 and the fact that all people who bought Baby Einstein dvd's in the last five years will be able to get a refund. The blogger seems to be in complete agreement with the AAP and all the denials of the educational value of these dvd's and the horrors of letting a child watch tv.
