I spent the entire afternoon on Saturday painting in my backyard.
Listening to some great music. (Seether, Eric Hutchinson, Everclear, Jimmy Buffett and Train - thanks to all who introduced me to the song Hey, Soul Sister!)
I painted some of the living room furniture, picture frames and a few decor items. I'm in love with the results! I have a couple more accent pillows I'm in the middle of making and I'll post pics soon. Since I was stum... Continue reading...
First, I want to say THANK YOU to all the awesome peeps who are offering me some much needed advice for my kitchen redo! I'm getting more excited now that I'm hearing some great ideas!
Second, listen up...in case you didn't know, I have a page of this blog where I host a ton of super amazing giveaways of some really awesome products! There are currently three different giveaways running. Do you see that little link at the top of this page? The one that says "Current Giveaways"?... Continue reading...
I totally agreed with that one. I was happy I secured it with thumbtacks to see what it would look like instead of going all out.
I rearranged some dishes and left the doors off the upper cabinets. I'm left with this...
I like it. It needs paint.
So, one of my conundrums with all this is that my kitchen/dining room/living room are all open. No walls separating the three. To me, it seems like all three rooms must be the same (or at least coordinating) decor. It just seems lik... Continue reading...
I was going to vlog my Lost post for the day. I really was. Yet, there's no vlog attaching going on here.

If you wanna play along with Mama. M's Five Question Friday, head over to her blog and link up. Be sure to hop around and check out the other bloggers while you are there!
So, here ya go!
So, after that first one, I felt this needed to be added.

I watched one of 0007's nieces this morning.
--------------> Yeah, I'm sick of saying "hubby" or "hubs". From hence forward, let it be known that my husband's blog nickname ... Continue reading...
