Memories on the Wall

One of my favorite things about our house, aside from the...
hooligans in the kitchen...
and the silliness in the bathtub...
and the kids sleeping in random places at any given time...
is all of our pictures I have all over the place.
I walk around the house and look at them all and remember what was going on when they were taken and cherish each memory. Some are really old and some are more recent. (It's been a while since I rotated so mostly they are getting old!) This wall in the dining room is filling up but, I'm anxious to put up a few more frames...
Our fridge is my favorite. It's full covered in baby pics of all four of us, pics of family and friends, funny pics and pics that evoke bittersweet memories.
I can't wait until Snappy is a little older and I can continue the pictures down the fridge a little further. Every time someone comes to our house they enjoy looking at all of them. I stop and smile every time I'm in the kitchen (which is generally every few seconds because someone needs a drink, snack, napkin, etc.).
One of my favorite pictures in the entire house is the central frame on the main living room wall. My mom took this of hubby, TRex and I when he was just a baby.
The pic of hubby and me when we were first dating always makes me smile.
I just love them all. To me, you can never have too many pictures of the people you love surrounding you. No matter where we have lived, once the pictures are up...it's home.
