Under: Lost
Sorry about the delay, folks! Feeling a bit under the weather today.

Well, last night's episode was pretty good. I'm getting frustrated at the promise of answered questions because it seems that answered questions only lead to more questions! I certainly still have more questions after last night's episode.
Helen said "your dad" to John in the alternate reality. This would lead one to believe that things are good with John and his dad but, he's still in a wheelchair. Now I'm wondering how he ended up in the wheelchair in this alternate reality.
When "Locke" saw that kid in the jungle the first time, Richard couldn't see him. When he saw him the second time, Sawyer could see him. Do you remember that Sawyer could also see Kate's vision of the horse? Is there something super special about Sawyer?
So, there are names on the ceiling. This is important. But, they didn't show Kate's name. Did they? Was it just an oversight or is her name not up there? And, there's only one Kwan. Which is it? Jin or Sun? Why is one important and one isn't but, they are both back on the island? Was Jin not supposed to survive the boat explosion? Is that the same list of names that was in the ankh in the guitar case? Probably. But, the question of why is still there.
Ben in the alternate reality...totally made me say "Whaaaaa?"
The numbers...their ba-ack! Is it the seat numbers they were in? Will we find out that the numbers don't mean anything?
Do we believe what "Locke" told Sawyer about why he's there and what the choices are?
I don't know the answers to these questions. I like thinking about them but, haven't formed any real theories thus far. What do you think?
Today's Lostapalooza questions...
1. Do you believe in Destiny?
2. Kate's story is very much laden with the theme of running from things. Have you ever been someone who ran from something?
3. In the seasons there were "filler episodes". The episodes that didn't answer or ask any questions. The episodes that have a tendency to infuriate those who are wanting every episode to go somewhere. But, they sure are entertaining. What was your favorite "filler episode"?
1. Do you believe in Destiny?
Absolutely. I know it's hard to wrap one's mind around fate, destiny and free will all coexisting but, I completely believe in destiny. I think that there are times when we are "right where we're supposed to be". I surprise myself in this belief because I'm pretty cynical most of the time and Destiny is a pretty "magical" and positive kind of thought. I love to believe in it though. It's that little part of me that romanticizes things and likes to believe that things happen for a reason. My own personal love story with my hubby definitely makes me believe in destiny.
2. Kate's story is very much laden with the theme of running from things. Have you ever been someone who ran from something?
Definitely. There was a time in my life when I ran from everything. Ran from responsibility. Ran from conflict. Ran from anything difficult. Nowadays, I don't run. Running from things turned into jogging from things, which led to walking from things. Now, I may slightly ignore things from time to time but, have learned to turn and face most of it. Not like Kate, running towards the trouble but, learning to turn and face it.

I just loved the Nikki and Paulo story. The way it ended, with the knowledge that "eeks! They aren't dead!" was crazy! Did they get what was coming to them? Did the island make sure of it? The island seems to have it's own way to deal with population control, that's for sure.
Alright.
Game on!
