Close that door!

The days are getting warmer here in south Texas.
Summertime is definitely around the corner.
We really have about a week of "Spring" here before it starts turning into Summer. It's not that hot just yet and I'm totally loving it. Hot enough for shorts and tanks but, not so hot that your skin feels like it's melting...yet.
But, definitely hot enough to yell "Close that door!" anytime someone opens it.
Let me just say that I never knew people could be so inept at closing doors. It's like every single time one of my kids opens a door, it's the first time they've ever done it and have no idea how to close it. A friend of mine once told me that her dad used to tell them, "You're lettin' out the bought air!" Love it! I still laugh when I think of it and say it to my kids often.
Today was just one of those perfect Spring turning into Summer days. Low 80s and plenty of sunshine but, the coastal breeze was blowing at just the right times.
I decided that an afternoon in the backyard with the kiddos would help my procrastination funk.
So, out we went.
Don't forget the Pop-Ice!
As usual, they had a blast.
This is pretty much how it normally is here.
Snappy telling an attitude filled story while TRex acts like a wild hooligan.
They humored me with some one loving brother/sister picture.
Snappy sat for a total of 20 seconds and I got some shots as quickly as I could.
It was over almost before it began and she was done paying attention to what I was trying to do.
All in all, not too bad of an afternoon. Got some sun, some popsicles and some pics!
