Under: 5 Question Friday
Friday already? Woohoo! Normally, Friday doesn't mean much. I'm a SAHM so, my days are pretty much all the same. Hubby works on most Saturdays so, Friday is just another day. But, he informed me yesterday that he isn't working this weekend so....Woohoo Friday!
It's been a good week. Got a lot of work done this week. For the most part, the weather was great and the kids were able to play outside every day. The other day when I thought the washer broke, it decided to prove me wrong when I went to show hubby. But, the joke's on the washer because I didn't want it to be broken! I'd rather look like an idiot than have a broken washer!
Be sure you head over to my Giveaway page. There are some pretty flippin' cool giveaways right now (one of them is for a kitchen or bathroom faucet and those faucets are awesome!) and later today I'll be posting a new DownEast Basics women's clothing giveaway! So, check that page out!
So, on to the Friday festivities. 5 Question Friday is from the ever cute Mama M. Head over to her blog to play along!
Today's questions...
1. Have you ever hit an animal with your vehicle?
2. When you see a string on your clothes do you pull it off or cut if off?
3. Did you have your own room or share a room when you were young?
4. Would you rather wear the same thing for the rest of your life or eat the same thing for the rest of your life?
5. What was your favorite TV show as a child?
1. Have you ever hit an animal with your vehicle?
Um, yes. But, it's not like it was a cute animal. Or a pet.
It was an icky yucky gross possum.
I hate possums.
Wait. I didn't do it on purpose!
It ran out in front of me. It was dark. I was on a back road. I was 16.
Never hit anything else though. Oh, I almost hit a wild hog one night when I was leaving my grandparent's house. I missed it but, that was scary.
2. When you see a string on your clothes do you pull it off or cut if off?
I'm lazy. I usually pull it off. Or, I'll give it a tentative tug to see if it's going to keep coming out or if I get resistance. If it keeps coming then sometimes I'll try to find some scissors. Or get hubby to use his pocket knife.
3. Did you have your own room or share a room when you were young?
Always my own room. When I was growing up, it was just my brother and I. We both always had our own rooms.
4. Would you rather wear the same thing for the rest of your life or eat the same thing for the rest of your life?
Hmmmmm. If I got to pick what it was, I guess I'd rather wear the same thing. Eating the same thing would get old and probably make me gag after a while, even if it was a favorite. But, if I could wear my favorite jeans and top, I guess I'd be okay. Bored but, okay.
5. What was your favorite TV show as a child?
So many. And I love talking about shows from my childhood. They just don't make 'em like they used to.
Growing Pains (wish they would syndicate that one)
Rescue 911 (watched as a family every week)
Quantum Leap (TRex actually loves this show! So awesome)
Patty Duke (I was a Nick at Nite junkie)
Saved by the Bell (I know. I'm lame.)
My grandma and I watched Twin Peaks. Not that it was one of my faves but, watching with her stands out in my mind.
Mr. Wizard's World (coolest show ever. My brother and I used to watch that all the time)
Perfect Strangers (my dad loved this one)
Charles in Charge (TRex likes this one too. And now I realize how stupid it was. And how unbelievable all the sexual innuendos are!)
Doogie Howser (love me some Doogie)
Wonder Years (maybe one of the best shows ever)
Family Ties (how could you not like that show?)
Hogan Family (ahhh, Jason Bateman)
No, I don't have a problem with picking favorite things. Not at all!
Happy Friday!
