Well, I was going to procrastinate today's 5QF but, since Mama M. used one of my question suggestions, I guess I'll do this post when it's actually still Friday!

Today's Questions:

1. Worst trouble you ever got into as a teenager?
Ok, what was I thinking when I suggested this question? Not like I can plead the 5th now! Hmmmm. Oh, I've got one.
When I was 16, three friends and I signed up to go to Austin/UT with the drama club for a day of seminars and lectures. We told our parents we were going to that. I picked up those friends who will remain nameless and we drove to Austin on our own. We had never been there without our parents and had no idea where we were going or what we were doing. We had a blast! We went to the Capitol building. We went shopping. We went to the main shopping strip right beside the university and were having so much fun. Then we saw people from our school. Yikes! Someone told our teacher who, in turn, told our parents. Busted! We all got varying degrees of punishment. I think I was grounded for a couple of weeks. One of those girls that was with me that day is no longer with us. I would have gladly taken months of being grounded for the memory that I have of her from that one fun day. Totally worth it!

2. Are you a morning person or a night person?
Absolutely, without a doubt, I am a night person. Always have been. My kids are too. Guess it's genetic!

3. Are you a one-handed or a two-handed Texter?
I don't text much and my phone is ancient but, when I do, I am a one-hander.

4. Democrat, Republican, or Independent..or maybe even Green Party (whatever that is).
Hmmmm...I don't think I fall perfectly into any category. Honestly, I think having these categories is one of the things that is wrong with politics.

5. Are you a pet person?
Yes. We had pets growing up and when I lived on my own I always had a cat. We now have three cats and had two dogs. We lost one of our sweet doggies a couple of days ago.
