5 Question Friday

It took me a minute to realize that all these posts I was seeing weren't from last week. Today really is Friday. Well, for a few more hours at least. This is my first time to do 5QF with Mama M. and I'm stoked. I've been wanting to participate for a while so, here we go!

1. If you could bring one character to life from your favorite book, who would it be?
Hmmm. Maybe Lestat from Anne Rice's Vampire books! Ooooh, or maybe Stu Redman from Stephen King's The Stand!
2. Where did you get your very first kiss?
Ha! On a school bus when I was in 4th grade. Funny.
3. How did you welcome in the New Year?
Popping off fireworks with the kids in our driveway. We've never lived anywhere that wasn't in the city limits so it was pretty fun to be able to do it right here. Snappy and TRex absolutely loved it. I couldn't believe they weren't scared of how loud they were. TRex even held a few roman candles and did them himself. We had a good time. Got a few pics but, haven't uploaded them yet. Other than that, it was a pretty laid back night full of tv watching with hubby and making fun of J. Lo's outfit. ;-)
4. What is your favorite Beatles song?
Oh, wow...that's really a hard one. I suppose it would depend on what kind of mood I'm in. I don't think that it gets much better than "Imagine" but, I'm also a huge fan of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".
5. Donuts: Overrated, underrated, or 'bout right?
I love me some chocolate topped donuts. I would never say that they are overrated!
