One of the things that happens when you grow up is your shoes have to grow up too. It's a sad fact that adults just can't get away with wearing fun shoes. I've accepted the fact that my fun shoes have to be limited to my houseshoes, lest I face public ridicule. I've decided that my kids' shoes should be as fun and cute as possible since the years are short and they will soon have to put them away for more practical choices.
I recently came across a company that has the most fun shoes for kids I have ever seen. Polliwalks are slip on shoes for kids that look like animals. The creative mind behind Polliwalks, Joel Rusnak, has been designing shoes for a long time and has also been a toy designer. His years of experiece in both arenas are apparent when you first look at these adorable shoes.
Polliwalks are soft molded shoes that are waterproof and really easy to wash. They are super easy for kids to put on and take off and, best of all, they are absolutely precious. TRex loves his pair of Polliwalks. Which pair? Of course, the T-Rex shoes. These are seriously cute. They look like dinosaurs and come in pink or green. One of the wonderful details of these shoes is the sole leaves the footprints of the animal it is supposed to be. TRex claims his make him jump higher. I cannot comment on the height of jumps in these shoes. No matter how high the jump or how fast the running, he's super cute when he's doing it!
One of the features that I really like is that Polliwalks uses no waste manufacturing. Anything that is leftover after the moding process is recycled. They also use environmentally friendly packaging. All of their tags and other packaging materials are made from recycled materials. I love those features and kids will love the features like color changing lips on the fish shoes!
How about light up tail on the firefly shoes? Way too cute!
There are so many styles to choose from. You'll find a pair of shoes for every child's personality.
