My daughter definitely inherited my love of shoes. Seriously, at age two, I've seen the girl pass over toys in favor of shoes. Despite the occasional mismatched pair, she seems to have fairly decent taste. One pair of shoes that we can both always agree on are her Tootles from Livie and Luca.

Aren't they cute? She and I both just adore them!

Livie and Luca shoe company was started by three moms with a passion to create shoes perfect for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I'd say they succeeded fabulously. These shoes are both super stylish and unbelievably comfortable for the little feet learning how to walk, run and jump. Livie and Luca shoes are made from the softest leather and the soles are extremely flexible. The inner sole is cushioned and the softness continues. My daughter wears hers without socks all the time and I haven't seen the slightest glimmer of a blister. These shoes are just amazingly soft. To me, that is a very important quality in a shoe for my child.

Another feature that I love is how easy these shoes are for my daughter to put on herself. The funky design of these shoes makes them look adorable but, also gives a nice wide toe area. When putting close-toed shoes on my daughter it is very nice to have a lot of room. Not only does she have the wide feet but, she also has the uncanny ability that most kids have to scrunch her toes up the second she puts her feet in the shoes. With these shoes her feet go in easily.

Aside from the foot fashions that Livie and Luca offers, they are a company that cares. The shoes are all handmade (which I love) from leather scraps that would normally be thrown out. How's that for being resourceful?! They also have a big hand in making sure the people who make Livie and Luca shoes are happy. In today's day and age it's not too common to find companies that care about their products, their customers, their employees and the environment. Livie and Luca obviously cares about them all and more. Ten percent of their online sales go to charity and they are a big supporter of Art for Humanity, an organization that takes gently used shoes and gives them to children that wouldn't ever have shoes. Livie and Luca offers cute shoes for both boys and girls. Their summer sandals are adorable and I'm highly tempted to get my daughter some of the little ankle boots for winter. I love the pair that were sent to us. The Tootles style are a super cute "mary jane" type shoe that look adorable with a skirt or pants. While I could go on and on about the girl shoes, I must say that the choices for boys are fantastic. When I first browsed the Livie and Luca site, looking at the cute little boy shoes made me wish my big guy wasn't such a big guy!

I would think that diaper rash is probably one of the most common problems that new parents and their babies deal with. It seems to me that it is so common that parents have pretty much resigned themselves to the thought that it will eventually happen and need a plan of action for clearing it up. How about a plan of action for preventing it from the get go? And in walks, Bummas.

These little parent invented cloths are perfect. The Bummas cloths are 100% cotton woven velour terry cloth. They are unbelievably soft. Use them to "avert the squirt" while changing a diaper and then, after wiping baby's bottom, use them to softly dry baby before putting on the new diaper. Because baby's bottom is nice and dry, diaper rash is a thing of the past!


Bummas have so many other uses. You can use them for any kind of baby clean up and be confident that you are using a cloth that is gentle, durable and washable. They also make fantastic wash cloths for baby and older children. Shortly after receiving our Bummas, my daughter's allergies acted up and she had the runniest nose. I hate when I have to clean her face in the morning after a night of runny nose. You know what I'm talking about. All the terrible crustiness. It can be uncomfortable for them when you have to clean that with a regular wash cloth or baby wipe. I took a Bummas cloth and got it damp to wipe her face. These days it's more important than ever that we are aware of our earth and being proactive to save it. I'm a big fan of recycling and reusing things. I had never heard the term "upcycle" until I joined Etsy. Upcycling is the commonly used phrase for "making old things new again" and I love it. Altering and revamping slightly used clothing to create an entirely different piece not only means something has been recycled for reuse but, it also means that you and I can get super cute one of a kind items.

I love this game. I have always prided myself on movie trivia. This game put me to the test. You draw two cards and have to think of a movie that includes elements from each card.

See how fun it can get? Hubby and I played this one for a while. It's a nice movie to just kick back and play with two people on the couch or really get into with a bunch of friends.

I'm a purse junkie. I am constantly buying new handbags, totes, clutches, purses, you name it. I always thought that I buy so many purses because there are so many cute ones. I'm starting to think it's also because I just haven't ever found the perfect purse. I may never buy another purse again.

Always Graceful is a darling little shop on Etsy. It's clear when browsing the shop that the main inspiration is the owners little granddaughter. Every item is clearly made with love and care.

Always Graceful sent us this one of their super cute crayon aprons. Snappy just loves it! I think that they are really well made and absolutely adorable. These aprons are just like any other play apron but, they have slots all across the front where the child can slide in their crayons or paintbrushes or whatever their minds can dream up!
