Go Jane is an online women's clothing boutique that I absolutely love. The clothes range from super hip and trendy to chic and classic. You'll find everything from casual tees and tanks to jeans, skirts and leggings to casual or formal dresses. Aside from the clothing, Go Jane also has an amazing selection of shoes and accessories. There are so many different types of clothing here that I really think you could find something for everyone from the tween on your shopping list to the sister, aunt or best friend.

I have so many favorite items that I've got my eye on over at Go Jane. I love this sweater top. It looks comfy and really versatile. I can see this looking good with jeans or a cute skirt.


Go Jane has cute shrugs and boleros to spruce up a regular tee or tank. I love throwing on pieces like this to add a little something extra to a plain outfit without going over the top.


This dress is one of my favorite things. So cute and so affordable.


I must say that I saw some boots like these on another site recently and the prices were ranging from $200-$500 and my jaw dropped as I quickly went to another site. These boots are cute, trendy and won't require a second mortgage on your home! Boots shouldn't cost the same as a car payment.


Go Jane sent me a pair of their fur trim sweater boots and I absolutely adore them. These boots are super comfy and so cute. The quality is fantastic. I'm always wary of shoes that are made of sweater or wool or anything like that on the outside. They can start to look a little worn a little fast. I have worn my boots so many times and they still look brand new. They aren't starting to pill or look worn at all. I really love these boots. The best thing is that at only $20 a pair, I can get a new pair every season or one in every color!


I really must stress the affordability here. Go Jane has done a wonderful job of putting together some chic styles of clothing, shoes and accessories that are accessible and affordable to us all. This is definitely one of my picks for the Lolidots Gift Guide and I highly recommend checking them out for your holiday gift shopping and holiday outfit shopping.

Wee Squeak CLOSED

Footwear that's fun for kids is the perfect way to describe Wee Squeak. I remember the first time I saw a pair of these shoes. It was a few years ago when I was working at a daycare and a little girl who had just learned to walk came squeaking into the room. Everyone's faces lit up as they exclaimed how cute the shoes were. Every shoe at Wee Squeak is adorable. Not all make noise and the ones that do, can be silenced if necessary. Because, let's face it, there are some instances when squeaking may not be appropriate!

There are so many great lines of shoes at Wee Squeak. The Wee Snaps don't squeak but, they do come with the ability to have interchangeable flowers on the cute little sandals so you can match them to any outfit. I love shoes like this. The versatility of matching all outfits without having to have a new shoe for every single one is so nice.


The different Mary Jane style girl shoes and the girl tennis shoes are so precious. They all have the removeable squeaker and come in so many different colors and styles. I love the brown Mary Jane with the butterfly and the Pink Camo tennis shoe!


The boy shoes at Wee Squeak are just as cute. For the little man, the Suede Two Tone shoe is perfect and I really like the black and white tennis shoe.


The Beibi line of shoes from Wee Squeak are all silent shoes but, the styles are anything but quiet! Every one of the shoes in this line are so sweet. Wee Squeak sent us the Taylor Purple baby shoe and I love it. My daughter had been needing a pair of shoes to wear with all her purple outfits and these are really great. I love shoes with more than one shade of the same color because they go with so many more outfits. The dark purple on these shoes is actually a corduroy fabric. I really wasn't sure about this. I have to admit that I figured they'd get dirty and/or messed up pretty quickly. Not true at all. My daughter wears these all the time. They are soft and comfortable enough for her to wear with no socks and the strap doesn't bother her at all. The sole is flexible and, though she has worn them a lot, they still look brand new. The little flower on the toe adds a super cute touch of flair. I love these shoes.


Wee Squeak is definitely one of my picks for "Gifts for Kids" this holiday shopping season.

Forever Afters - Gift Guide Pick CLOSED

I love to get my kids new toys; really, I do. The problem is that, as my husband says, "they could break a ball bearing with a flip flop." All the toys end up getting broken in some way. It's frustrating to buy toys that don't last. I want them to have amazing toys that promote learning skills and having fun, while stading up to the test of time.

Forever Afters is a shop on Etsy that I came across that is full of amazing wooden toys for children. When I was a kid, the only wooden toys were blocks and other fairly boring items. The toys at Forever Afters are wonderful. There are so many different kinds of toys for boys and girls. All the toys in this shop are great for supporting their growing minds and imaginations. The creative minds behind these toys definitely know what children want and need when playing. You can see the care and love in every item.

I love the set of groceries. Last Christmas, we got our daughter a kitchen and all the accessories. The box groceries that came with it were torn up by that afternoon. The plastic fruit lasted a little longer but, somehow, most of it has been crushed by something or another. These groceries from Forever Afters would actually last.


The camera, flashlight and other items are perfect for a boy or a girl and would be great fun for pretend play. These are the kinds of toys that usually end up, not only broken and unworking but, also taken apart with wires exposed and eventually will end up in the trashcan. With the wooden toys from Forever Afters, you can be sure you won't have wires and whatnot poking out.


I love the sewing set that Forever Afters sent us. The iron, scissors and measuring tape toys are so cute. I give my daughter fabric scraps and she plays while saying "Just like Mommy". How cute! The scissors move but do not cut and the tape measure has a fabric piece of measuring tape sticking out but, not the dangerous for fingers snap back like a regular measuring tape. The craftsmanship is amazing. This is a set of toys that I am positive will last and last. I can see my daughter's daughter playing with this stuff someday. This set would make a perfect gift for any little girl.


I love the furniture pieces from Forever Afters. The chairs, strollers, ironing boards and other items are perfect. All are definitely items that will last and be passed down through generations. To me, that is a wonderful quality in a toy. And, it's nice to know you are making an investment instead of just buying a toy.


Forever Afters is absolutely one of my choices for the Loidots Gift Guide. They have so many toys and other items to choose from. You're sure to find something for any child on your list.

Shade Clothing was founded by a woman looking to fill the void of stylish yet modest women's clothing. It's difficult these days to find women's clothing that is super stylish while being comfortable and not too revealing. Shade Clothing provides just that. All the clothes are hip enough for today's young woman but, classy enough to be worn to work, an event or a family function. I love these clothes.

I enjoy dressing in hip clothing but, feel I've passed the point of super trendy junior's clothing. Once you hit your late 20s and early 30s and have kids, it can be hard to find your niche when it comes to fashion. It's all either too young, too revealing or not quite stylish enough. I think it also becomes more important as you get older to pick truly classic pieces. I no longer shop for items that are uber trendy. Paying attention to the pocketbook means wanting to buy clothes that will last instead of going out of fashion in one season.

The fashion I found at Shade Clothing is all exactly what I've been looking for. The basic tees and tanks are perfect for layering or just a super casual outfit.


The tops range from simple,


to casual,


to maternity,


to, what I like to call "dressy casual". These are my favorite because I can wear tops like this to the grocery store, to holidays at the in-laws' house, or a night out with hubby.


The skirts from Shade Clothing are super cute and classic. I love that they aren't super short!


I also really like the sweaters and jackets at Shade Clothing. This Peacoat is way too cute.


I must say that aside from the stylish and classic clothing selection, the prices are incredibly modest as well. Good fashion at an affordable price is so important these days. I love seeing a company provide women with chic clothing and not charge outrages prices. Shade Clothing is definitely one of my favorite women's clothing shops.

I have the Cowl Neck long sleeve top in heather pewter/garnet and I absolutely adore it. This top fits so well; it's amazing. This style with the banded bottom that hits perfectly at the hips has become increasingly one of my favorite styles in a top. It's so flattering on any body shape and incredibly forgiving if you are self-conscious about your tummy area. The drape neck makes this top so pretty and it falls wonderfully to create a flattering neckline without being super low-cut. The fabric is soft and comfy and I love the color choices. Really, no matter your body type, I highly recommend this top.

When it comes to snacks for my kids I am often a little stumped. Honestly, it's sometimes difficult to find snacks that they really enjoy that are also healthy. I want to offer them snacks that will do good things for their body while making them super happy to be eating it. I also don't want to break my grocery budget while doing it.

I recently discovered Clif Bar, Clif Kid ZBar and Luna Bars and I'm such a fan. My kids sometimes have to be limited because they like these snack bars so much. I must say, they are incredibly yummy.


The Clif Bar family has created a line of energy and snack bars that are wonderful tasting, wonderfully good for you and come from a company that is wonderfully good to our planet and our people. Clif Bar's mission to make the planet a better place is heartwarming. It's not just in their food. They are stepping out (literally) to raise awareness about a greener earth. The Clif Bar 2 Mile Challenge is asking people to change their routine once a week. When travelling under two miles, Clif Bar challenges everyone to stay away from the car, grab a bike and fight climate change. Once a week. That's it. 40% of urban US travel happens in trips that are under 2 miles. Instead of hopping in your car, take a walk or ride your bike. My kids and I walk the two blocks to the post office every single day and, believe me, that fresh air and little bit of exercise raises spirits and makes you feel great.

The Clif Bar lines of energy bars and snack bars are so yummy and good for you. The Clif Kid Zbar is full of what our busy and active kids need to keep them energized and nourished. The bars are lowfat, made with whole oats and contain 12 essential vitamins and minerals. They are made from all organic ingredients and, have I mentioned how yummy they are? I was actually amazed at their taste. Have you ever had a snack item that was labeled with a flavor but, only tasted like the imitation of that flavor? The Zbars we have tried are so full of flavor, I couldn't believe it. The very first one my son and I tried was the Blueberry ZBar. Unbelievable. The blueberry combined with the whole oats and other ingredients makes that bar taste so much like a blueberry muffin that was baked fresh from scratch. The chocolate bars and peanut bars are just as yummy and fresh tasting. One thing that I like, and am pretty sure my kids like, is the texture of the bars. Unlike granola bars, they have a smoother texture but, the consistency of a fudgie brownie. I am such a fan of these bars. Clif Bar sent us a few to try and within a few days we were at the grocery store buying more. These are now a staple snack in our house that I can feel really good about giving the kids.


The other snack from Clif Kid that we tried and now love was the Twisted Fruit. This is probably my favorite fruit snack ever. My kids love all the fruit snacks and I used to buy them all the time. Then one day, my hubby picked up a box and looked at the ingredients. We may as well pour spoonfuls of sugar down their throats. But, they love those snacks. Where is the alternative? The Organic Twisted Fruit from Clif Kid is real fruit twisted into a chewy rope. They have no added sugars, no preservatives, no artificial flavors or colors. And they are good!! I commented to my hubby after trying one, "Isn't it amazing how good real things taste without all the added junk?" Every Twisted Fruit equals one whole serving of fruit. And, because I just have to say it again, the flavors are outstanding! Every single flavor we tried was so great. My favorite is Grape. My daughter loves the Mixed Fruit.


I really recommend the snacks from Clif Bar for you and your kids. For women, the Luna Bars are just as yummy as the Clif Kid products but, they are filled with the nutrients and vitamins that are important for women's health. They are also very tasty. Other amazing products from Clif Bar include the original Clif Bar energy bar, Clif Nectar Bar, the Clif Builder's Bar that is entirely natural protein, Clif Quench hydration drink for sustained performance, Clif Mojo Sweet and Salty peanut bars and Clif Shot Roks that are bite sized protein pieces.
