I'm pretty sure that all kids love temporary tattoos and face painting. They are fun for kids and always make for a good treat in party bags and a fun time at a kid's party. I was amazed at how easy they were to apply to the kids and really impressed with how long they lasted through all the playing, sweating, swimming and craziness.

Custom stamped jewelry is all the rage these days. I have a few necklaces and even a bracelet with some stamped words on them and I love them. I had never seen such gorgeous hand stamped rings until I ventured over to Nelle and Lizzy.

Yogurt is a staple in our house. It's something that we all enjoy and it's good for us. With two busy kids always grabbing a snack and running outdoors, yogurt isn't always the best on-the-run kind of snack, though.

When I was a kid, I loved books on tape. Times have changed and my kids now have the great joy of having books on DVD. They both absolutely love watching their Scholastic DVDs and I love that they are having quality books read to them with the classic images and wonderful animation.
Giggle, Giggle Quack and More Stories is their newest favorite Scholastic DVD. This adorable compilation of stories is always met with laughter in our house.
In the lead story, Giggle, Giggle Quack, Farmer Brown goes on vacation, leaving his brother Bob in charge. Little
does Bob know that Duck has changed all of Farmer Brown's instructions
on how to take care of the animals. The story is so cute and a definite kid favorite.
All of the stories on this new DVD are enjoyable and you can feel good about your kids watching tv when it's beloved stories from Scholastic. The stories have read-along words at the bottom of the screen which is wonderful for beginning readers.
Things have come a long way from the days of my youth. Listening to records and tapes along with books was always fun but, I love that my kids are lucky enough to experience the wonderful twist that Scholastic has put on the regular "read-along". Every Scholastic DVD we've viewed has been entertaining and they are all well-loved. I always recommend the Scholastic DVDs to people with kids of all ages and think they make wonderful gifts as well.
