My regular readers know that we recently redid my daughter's room. It got new paint, floor and decor. I feel like cute shoes are just a necessity. You know, food, clothing, shelter...and cute shoes! Now, I've got myself and my daughter totally covered in that department but, it gets a bit harder when it comes to my son. I'm sure that the mothers of boys know what I'm saying. Sure, there are cute shoes out there but, my 6 year old wants fun shoes, theme shoes. Let's face it, usually the theme shoes are just a little too cutesy and babyish for my cool little boy. He recently received a pair of shoes from Weboo that are absolutely amazing. I promise you that you've never seen any shoes like those that Weboo carries. When my son wears these dinosaur shoes, every eye turns to his feet when he enters a room. I have never seen people go so completely gaga over a pair of shoes as people do when my son has his Weboo shoes on.

Shoes that simulate a natural barefoot environment, complete with flexible soles, non-tapered toe beds, soft uppers, and minimal arch support seem to be the best for the feet of active and growing children. On top of how amazing the upper parts of these shoes are and the benefits of using that style of upper, Weboo soles are like sneakers. So, my son's feet are comfortable, in an environment that is encouraging the healthiest growing and the bottoms are completely protected while he's running, jumping and taking his Weboo T-Bone shoes for another journey. In our house, rock and roll is king. Our kids come by it honestly. My husband and I are both rock and rollers and the kids have boogied right along behind us. I don't want to deny my children "Kids' Music" but, some of it is just painful. Lately, we've totally been rockin' together to the perfect mix of kid-friendly lyrics and music reminiscent of some of the best rock and roll bands out there. Even the newest album name from rockers StarFish gives a pleasant nod to rock and roll. Enter Sandbox's lyrics may be talking about stuff kids can laugh and relate to but, their music makes me think of bands like Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Grateful Dead, Metallica and others. This is THE CD for rocker kids and parents alike. 
Education is important when trying to reach a young audience. StarFish knows this and it makes me a goofy kind of happy that they are educating kids on how to rock and how to be a concert goer. At their concerts, they teach the audience how to cheer when they hear their hometown (an important rule of concerts), how to join the mosh pit and play air guitar (an important lesson for any rocker) and give the kids the number one rule: There are no rules. It's hilarious and I'm now dying to take my kiddos to one of StarFish's concerts. I know it would be a rockin' time for all of us.
