I was an imaginative child so, to see my kids' imaginations at work is incredibly fun for me. Kids can turn the simplest things into the most fun toys in an instant. A stick becomes a bow staff for my son playing "ninja" and a kitchen towel easily turns into a superhero cape. Blankets turn a couch into a cave and pillows on the floor become shark infested waters. This fun toy is designed with bright colors to be immediately appealing to young children. It was developed for active kids and childhood development and made to stimulate the senses and the imagination. We all absolutely love it. Our Bilibo has been a hat, a doll bed, a spining seat (my son got the hang of that one really quickly), a pool toy, a toy carrier and even my husband has taken a turn using it to empty the kids' pool! I love how one inexpensive item continues to provide so much fun and for both my boy and girl of different ages. I also love how indestructible the Bilibo is! It's been spun in the floor, dropped on the ground, thrown in the yard, left in the rain, pawed by the dogs and it still looks exactly like it did the day I took it out of the box. For the inexpensive price of this toy, I am amazed at the versatility and quality.

My son starts kindergarten in about two months. He's been on the verge of reading for some time now but, we're really starting to see the light bulb come on and he's now realizing that he wants to read. Sure, school will help push him down that path but, in the meantime and as a helpful tool once school starts, I am beyond thrilled to let him play with the new VTech V.Reader. The V.Reader is an electronic, interactive, easy to use reading tool that will get your kids reading, reading better and enjoying reading. V. Reader brings reading to life by using pictures, sounds and interactivity. 
What do I think? The VTech V.Reader is absolutely amazing and a must-have for any child. Let's face it, the world is much different from when I was a child learning to read. My kids need things that are animated, bright and make great sounds. The fact that VTech uses some of my kids' favorite characters means they are hooked before they've even begun. What I really love about the amazing animation, sounds, music and narration is that even my daughter, who is not quite 3 yet, is incredibly engaged and interested. Though the children are at two different levels of learning, they can both absolutely enjoy what the V.Reader has to offer. 
There are two play options with the VTech V.Reader. Kids can listen and follow along with the story while it's read by animated characters or they can touch the screen and play reading games to learn their words and sentences. I have always said that, for my son, he learns better and faster when he isn't aware that he is learning. V.Reader does this for him by making reading a fun, interactive game full of animation and sounds that are much like his favorite cartoons. He's having so much fun, you'd think he was playing a video game instead of learning to read! I love that parents can use features that include progress reports and reading certificates. Being able to track a child's progress makes this an even more amazing tool in teaching and, I think, it would be amazing for homeschoolers. How can it possibly get any better? Very soon, VTech will be launching the availability to download stories for your V.Reader! There will be over 100 eBooks to download and many stories will be FREE! VTech has always been one of my favorite companies for children's toys and games. I'm a huge fan of their amazing products that have kept my children happy and have provided entertaining education. I love being able to see my kids learn while they are laughing from the fun of a VTech product. It's a wonderful thing. I always recommend VTech products to my friends and family, or anyone asking for a gift suggestion for a child. Like the other products in the VTech line, the V.Reader is affordable and entirely worth it. I'm a sucker for a really cool t-shirt and so is my husband. We're both doing fruity back flips over the tees we have seen from Seventh.Ink. Seventh.Ink is the love child of Matthew Johnson's obsession with both illustrations and t-shirts. Started in 20007 as an extension of his graphic design business, SeventhFury Studios, Matthew took his artistic abilities and threw them onto his other love, t-shirts. I'll admit that, while the designs all totally rock, I'm pretty in love with the prices. No one ever told me how much I'd be on my feet once I became a mom. Between cooking meals, running errands, daily housework and attending the many functions and parties that fill the calendar, the life of a mom is busy day in and day out. Those bon bons we stay at home moms eat all day, must be eaten on the run. When it comes to footwear options for the busy mom, it's generally either form or function. The choice must be made between comfort and fashion.At least, that's what I always thought.Sure, I have adorable shoes. Then I've got my comfortable shoes. The comfy shoes are certainly cute but, they aren't winning me any fashion awards! I don't spend much money on my high fashion shoes because, honestly, they just don't get worn that often. It's very rare that I'll be in need of shoes and not have to tend to my motherly duties. All the while, my heart breaks because, I'll be honest, I'm a shoe fanatic. I'm sure I could have continued half-heartedly compiling my comfy shoe collection while sacrificing the soar a woman's heart gets when she hears the words, "Oh, where did you get those shoes?!". Until now.

Let me stop right here and tell you that until you are a mom, you don't understand how wonderful it is to have an antimicrobial shoe. My shoes have had some of the ickiest stuff on them and, inevitably, any shoe in a household will end up in a child's mouth at some point.
When I first got my OKA b. shoes I was ready to give them the ultimate test in my life. None of my other "fashion" shoes can stand up to a full day at home with the kids followed by a family trip to the grocery store. By the end of the night, not only was I soaring from the compliments I'd received that day, I wasn't anywhere close to needing or wanting to take off my shoes. My feet felt as comfortable as if I'd worn my house-shoes all day. I will also say that aside from the obvious fashionable look of these shoes and the utter comfort, the price is something that a busy mom will love as well. I'm definitely a patriotic person. I hear the national anthem, see an American Flag, think of the sacrifices that our military makes and I get chills. The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. Not only does it symbolize that old fashioned American family fun that I love to idealize but, it's one of those days that gives people that nudge to remember how great our country is, what our country has gone through and all the men and women who have gotten us here and continue to serve our country.
