The songs are catchy, educational without being overbearing and, most of all, fun. The new DVD makes an amazing companion to her already fantastic albums.
I knew my daughter loved Meredith's music. She always asks for her Monkey Monkey CD. I had no idea how very much she would flip over the DVD. Our Monkey Monkey Music DVD gets plenty of play around here. I love that, just like a good CD, I can put it in and she can continue to play or learn while having something fun and educational in the background. She rotates between letting it be background music and focusing all of her attention on it. I also love that the DVD isn't just something nice to listen to. It gets my daughter up and moving, interacting with the music, laughing hysterically and just loving the time she is having.
I've already completely recommended Meredith LeVande's music and will absolutely do it again with this new DVD. If you have never heard the Monkey Monkey Music albums, I highly suggest them and the Monkey Monkey Music DVD will make a perfect gift for a music loving child this holiday season!

My 3 year old daughter says this constantly and every time I can't help but to crack up. It was hilarious when we saw it in the movie theater and it's hilarious a thousand times later. Despicable Me was absolutely the perfect choice for her first theater movie and it continues to be a total family fave. The naturally hilarious voices of people like Steve Carrell and Russell Brand fill Despicable Me and add to the funny and heart warming storyline. My kids were mesmerized at the movie theater, full of laughter during the movie and still ask me to pull up clips online.
Despicable Me has followed a long line of movies from that have gone further than just the movie and really built an empire with the characters. Who could have known that the funny little Minions from Despicable Me would go down in character history and totally take the nation by storm?! Minion Madness has taken over and the crazy little guys have run the bell at the New York Stock Exchange, had a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and stolen the hearts of so many. In addition, the Minion Photo Madness iPhone app is now available for FREE in the iTunes store. You can join in even more fun, and possibly be a huge winner, by playing Minion Madness and gathering Minions for doing tons of fun stuff!
When criminal mastermind, Gru, adopts three little girls for his own selfish reasons, he ends up learning what family is and what's really important. Along the way, watching this tough bad guy interact with and be softened by these three little ones is absolutely hilarious. My personal favorite moment of the movie is when Gru is forced to read a kitten book to the girls at bedtime. My kids were howling with laughter throughout the movie, as were the other children in the theater. If you are looking for a gift that will surely please this holiday season, look no further than Despicable Me!
Despicable Me comes out on DVD and BluRay on December 14th. I'm certain that it's going to become a classic in our house and know that it will be the same for households all across America.

I don't normally wear a lot of blush or eye makeup. I'm more of a plain powder and lipstick kind of girl. For a more dramatic eye, I love the In the Garden Pearl Eyeshadow from Everyday Minerals. There are definitely other colors I'm looking at getting as well. So many different looks and they are all so very affordable.
And, that's another reason I adore Everyday Minerals. Their prices are phenomenal. I really like mineral makeup but, it can get pricey. It's nice that it lasts longer than regular makeup but, I just can't spend an arm and a leg on makeup. With Everyday Minerals, I don't have to. Their regular size prices are perfectly affordable and their travel sizes are insanely inexpensive. Love it!
The blush from Everyday Minerals was another pleasant surprise. Like the eyeshadow, there are tons of different shades to choose from. Like Lady Bird Lake is one that I love. It's light and cool color is perfect and not too much and has just a touch of shimmer. Another fave is SoCo. It's definitely a classic blush color that feels great going on and the pink hues in this matte blush are just perfect.

My daughter is 3 and she's really getting into dolls lately. By that I mean that she's actually playing with them and interacting with them instead of them just being in a pile in her room. She's differentiating between the dolls and starting to get her preferences.
