Hasbro is giving one of my readers a game to get their family on the right track with National Family Game Night!
Looking for something you can do with the kids? Have a family game night! I'm sure you've seen the promotions that Hasbro has put out about their mission to get all families to have their very own family game night. I love their pursuit to unite parents and kids with something they will remember forever. We had game night when I was a kid and I love that my kids are getting older so that we can have one in our home now. I have some really wonderful memories involving playing games with the family and just with my brother and myself. I may not have been great at all the games but, it's not the times you win that you'll remember forever.
Hasbro's website has some really fun planning tips for creating your family game night. I love the idea of creating a special tradition that occurs only on game night. A special snack or an extension of bedtime that the kids only get on family game night will just add more anticipation and enjoyment to the night. You'll also find a wonderful list of age appropriate game suggestions.
September 23rd is National Family Game Night! Hasbro challenges families all over the United States to stop for one evening, turn off the tv, unplug the computer, pause the hectic schedules and gather around a fun game. I know we will be participating! How about you?
To help you get started with your family game night, Hasbro is giving one of my readers the SpongeBob Sorry game!
We have this game and it's fantastic. The classic Sorry game that you know and love (I loved it as a child!) is given a silly twist with the characters from the popular Nickelodeon show SpongeBob SquarePants. This game is just a good time for all!
Contest is open to US only and will end on September 19th.
