I very rarely wear belts. I just don't really care for them. I generally have on shirts that are long enough to cover the top of my pants so I don't like the bulge under my shirt. The problem is that because I don't wear belts and I DO wear very low cute pants, I sit down and you can see down my pants and if I bend over...well you can really see down my pants. I'm definitely not the only one with this problem. The founder of the awesome company and product isABelt had the same problem and that is why the isABelt was born.
The isABelt is the original invisible belt. It is definitely a fashion "fix-it". The belts are made from thin, strong and flexibel clear plastic that is virtually invisible once you have it on. I love that I can wear these belts under my shirts and you can't see any bulge from a belt or buckle. I like how tight I can wear the belt and it's still comfortable. I also love that when I am wearing these belts and choose to sit down I have no gap in the back of my pants. Such a relief, especially in stadium seating. The isABelt takes a little finesse to get it adjusted but, once you get the hang of it you'll find it's very simple. They do not adjust like bra straps but, come with great instructions on what to do.
isABelt comes in different styles and sizes. The original style works just fine but, my favorite is the wide. This one feels more comfortable to me and covers a better area on the waistband. For the younger girls, the isABelt comes in a Jr. that has super cute designs on it.
In addition to the belts, you'll also find some other pretty great accessory helpers. isAStrips are versatile, multi-use body and apparel tape strips. You can use these to help hold up pants with no belt loops, bra straps, keep jewelry in place, keep a low cut top from revealing too much and more. This "Fix-It" tape is a perfect item to have in your arsenal of wardrobe aids. I have a very low cut top that I normally have to safety pin to my bra in the front to keep from revealing too much. With these strips my neckline stays in place.
isABelt has been featured on shows like the Today Show and The Big Idea and in publications from Glamour to US magazine. Women everywhere are seeing just how useful and fantastic these products are. I think they'd make wonderful stocking stuffers this holiday season.
