THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED
One reader will win a Cable Knit Blanket from Bamboosa.
My kids have a blanket that I steal all the time. It is the softest thing I've ever felt and, though it's a baby blanket, it's large enough to cover my legs. I wish I could wrap my whole body in it and wear it all the time. Really. I would do it. Why is it so soft and comfy? It's made from bamboo. Where could something so wonderful come from? BambooBaby by Bamboosa.
Bamboosa is a company making a difference. The three amazing minds heading up this company know how important it is to create a product that people will like while remaining vigilant about eco-friendly production, manufacturing in the USA and keeping the standards for environmental awareness at an absolute high. They give back to community causes and their employees are making a difference. They are conscious about conservation and strive to make products that will last you a lifetime. I love what this company stands for and the fact that they are living up to their words.
Why is bamboo better?
For so many reasons. The bamboo fabric that Bamboosa uses is made from an organically grown bamboo. This means several things. Normally for a fabric to be "hypoallergenic" it has to be chemically treated. Bamboo fiber clothing does not. It is naturally anti-microbial. These fabrics also have a natural UV protection. Bamboo is a renewable source. The bamboo fiber is 100% biodegradable and is grown without using any chemicals or pesticides. Bamboo also grows faster than most plants. A typical tree takes 25-70 years to reach maturity. Bamboo takes 4 years. Bamboosa also does not use any bleach on the fabrics before the dying process.
So, what about BambooBaby?
You will find the highest quality baby products. We have the Cable Knit Blanket and, like I said, it's amazing.
BambooBaby also offers clothing. The tees, onesies, pants and beanies are perfect for baby's sensitive skin.
Bathe the kids with the BambooBaby Soapbar that is handcrafted with oils of cold pressed olive infused with wild yarrow and organic calendula, coconut, organic palm, sunflower and castor, organic aloe, essential oils, bamboo, sea salt, annatto. Imagine wrapping your baby up in one of these hooded towels when they emerge from the bath. The towels actually wick away moisture.
I think any of these products would make wonderful baby shower gifts. You'll find plenty of gift sets already put together for you!
You'll also find products for women and men at Bamboosa. I really want the Priya skirt!
I am in love with this company's efforts and beliefs. I think their products are amazing and their choices are commendable. As much as I love the idea of buying things that are good for the earth, I will admit that I sometimes shy away because the prices can be a bit high. While browsing Bamboosa I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were much lower than other eco-friendly products and bamboo made items that I've seen. I think it's wonderful to provide these products at prices that people can actually afford. I give Bamboosa, BambooBaby and their products two thumbs up and look forward to a lifetime with the cable knit blanket!
You can have a lifetime with a blanket of your own!
